Serenity

I absolutely love peace and quiet…. when people come to visit, they always say.. “It’s so peaceful here.”

We have a nephew, Brandon…. bless him, rest his soul…. he loved to visit often… He would always say…” Aunt Christine, I love coming here, it’s always so peaceful, I could stay here forever.” I so miss him, but I still hear those words often in the stillness.

I realize for a huge part of the world, they probably prefer the hustle and bustle, the noise, music, TV, games, etc. And all that’s great if it is what you enjoy….there is no right or wrong way with this.

But for me, just pure peace and quiet, that’s my preference!

The only thing I hear right now is the sound of the clock ticking here in the study. For me, a quiet morning, coffee time with God, and just pure peace as I get my day started.
